Remembering Our War - First World War Centenary Project
The Tees Valley First World War Commemorative Partnership is formed by five boroughs: Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesborough, Redcar, and Cleveland and Stockton. The Partnership commissioned JANVS | VIDAR to design and build this touring exhibition to convey, in a creative and dramatic way, what life was like for the people of the Tees Valley during the First World War. The exhibition complimented the wider Tees Valley First World War project and was designed to work alongside various outputs - artefact displays, oral history presentations, school projects, books and guides, reenactments and commemorative events. The project was part funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and was a keystone project of the First World War Centenary Project led by the Imperial War Museum.
